Do transferred hair bulbs produce hair even after the hair was lost before?

Based on our own experience and from experience of our clients transferred hair bulbs that lost hair for example after 3 yars (which is natural hair reproductive cycle) are still able to produce new hair.

How long does hair tranplantation takes?

Average length of hair transplantation at our clinic is between 2-4 hours.

How long after hair transplantation are stitches removed?

Because suture is placed on the back side of the head we prolong the peried when you keep stitches from regulat 7 days to 10-12 days in order to prevent the scar from “widening” and to stay as supposed around 1mm long.

How long do I have to stay at Inter Clinic after hair transplantation?

Hair transplantation is itinerant so there is no need to stay at our clinic after surgery. As an over standard we provide stay over night for patiens if they demand it.

Are sports forbiden after hair transplantation?

It is a must for our clients to prevent any intensive training for 14 days and to limit amount of training when neck muscles are involved so that the scar on the back of the head does not “widen”.

Do I have to stay at home after hair transplantation or can I go to work on regular basis?

We recommend aproximately one week of so called “cosmetic holiday”. If the clients job does not include wet or dusty environment it is possible to work regularly but in the other case we cannot recommend working for at least 14 days.

When will hair start to grow?

There is a so called “agrotechnic” period after the transplantation when hair start to grow. In most cases this period takes around 9 weeks but there are exceptions like 1 percent of our patiens experience hair grow immediately after the transplantation.

Do hair grow in the area where hair grafts were taken from?

If all healing is without any difficulties hair grow regularly around the 1mm scar.

Can I dye the transplanted hair?

Transplanted hair act as a regular hair so answer is yes they can be normaly dyed or cut however attention should be paid when trying to have permanent hair cut or any other type of demanding mechanic exposure.

Are there any scars left after hair transplantation?

This problem is very individual. Every patient will be left with a scar be it a bigger or smaller one that may vary from person to person. Depending on how the scars shape after the transplantation so is the final result.

Is the hair transplantation painful?

Transplantation is done under local anesthesia when the only painful part is the application of an anesthetic. From this moment on the client only recognizes blunt sensations but no pain.

Can be hair transplantation done in every case?

There are of course cases when hair transplantation is not efficient any longer. For example if there is not enough hair in the collecting area that could be transferred or in case of skin disease that could cause difficulties during the surgery. Another group not suitable for hair transplantation are people with diabetes, chronic renal and liver failure, impaired hematopoiesis, thyroid disease and some cardiovascular diseases.

Is it possible to get hair from foreign donor?

According to literature these transplantations are done but healing is more complicated and it is a must to use medicine which unfortunately can cause hair loss. In many cases transferred “hair islands” does not adapt to the skin and die out. These are the reasons why we do not do such hair transplantation at our clinic.

Do you do hair transplantation with use of a laser at your clinic?

We do not use this method at our clinic because studies from foreign clinics are not satisfactory enough and this method is starting to leave the field of hair transplantation surgery.
